Elaine & Bill Snell, Greenville SC
Elaine and Bill live in Greenville, South Carolina and work as a team to create their metal artwork. They have been married for twenty years, have two wonderful children, and both come from creative backgrounds.
They produce their work from within Elliott Metal Works, a family owned and run metal working business started by Elaine’s grandfather and now run by Bill and Elaine. Their metal artwork began with a custom balcony rail requested by a friend on the Carolina coast. Bill enjoyed the process and began creating metal silhouettes and sculptures. The possibilities began to grow and Elaine was soon recruited to head the design and creation of new work.
La Muse carries Bill & Elaine's whimisical affirmation word desk stands. When we met Elaine at a show in August she said that the idea came from drawings created by her daughter that she later developed into metal!
Depending on the word, each word is between 12"-14" long and 4" to 5.5" high. They make a wonderful statement and would look great on a book shelf, desk, children's dresser or credenza. Great for both the home and office.
